Benks Case Review | Best Cases for the Galaxy S24

 

In today's modern world, consumers are becoming more and more into the hype of buying expensive, flagship grade smartphones compared to a few years ago and this is simply because flagship devices just perform better and tend to stand the test of time as opposed to entry level or mid range devices.

The notion however also requires you to buy accessories that provide value as a means of an investment to help sustain your expensive smartphone not just for the aesthetic but also to help preserve and save money from buying another product in the long run.

As a consumer myself, I've decided to switch to the Galaxy S24 simply because in contrast to the Apple counterpart, even the base model just provides so much more value for the money be it capacity, flexibility and so on.

The big challenge, however, are case offerings as most cases for the Galaxy S24, are quite limited to either cheap, class A cases or top of the line flagship cases that can go up to $60 to $100 which isn't exactly considered "Practical" in 2024.

So I've checked the market, done the research and came across a company known as Benks. If you check out their website, most of the cases they cater too are practically for iPhones, but they also managed to squeeze in some Android devices, particularly the Galaxy S23 and up which is great.

First on the list is the MagClap Pop Stand Mist case, it is quite the mouthful to pronounce but this is actually one of the better cases from Benks as this provides features you may have seen elsewhere but in terms of quality, this raises the bar to the next level.

This case, which is valued at around 577.99 pesos, or approximately $10 is one of their value centric cases that provides a certain aesthetic that still allows you to see the color variant of your device and still provides a decent amount of protection.

Probably one of the unique features of the this case from the product line of Benks is the fact that the Pop stand also works as the MagSafe connector. This basically means, if you have a MagSafe PowerBank that has it's own stand, you can utilize that and the case will still work just as good as any case with a MagSafe connector.

If you're a corporate professional and is on your lunch break, rather than looking for a means to prop up your smartphone, the pop stand kicks into action allowing you different levels to give you that enjoyable viewing experience easily.

Lucent Pro Phone Case for Samsung S24

This is probably what I would call "The default" but elevated. Most often than not smartphone manufacturers would create a new product that comes with a free case, however, the most common practice is that, the free jelly case not only is too flimsy, it doesn't really provide any form of protection whatsoever.

I get it, it is inexpensive but, my point is, if the device is expensive, why include a cheap-o case that doesn't provide any real value to the cost of the product itself. 

This is where the Lucent Pro case would shine.

Montage ArmorPro Case built with Kevlar® for Samsung Galaxy S24

Like other case manufacturers, Benks also has their own flavor for flagship products and this one is literally one to look out for.

The Montage ArmorPro Case is build with Kevlar, literally the same material used for bullet proof vests. I wouldn't say this thing can literally catch a bullet to save your life, but considering Kevlar is able to withstand such force and impact despite how thin it is, imagine what it can do with just a smartphone.

• Durable and Robust

The Montage ArmorPro Case is valued at 2,484.99 or approximately around $50-60 depending on the conversion and to some, this may seem a bit high, but, most often than not if you try to check the market for durable cases that are designed and made with premium materials, chances are, they tend to be either too thick or too bulky.

Benks has managed to create a product that provides the same level of durability as those chunky phone cases, without including the chunky and leaves us with a minimalist design which is very impressive.
